… but as it turns out, there are. That especially is the case when the question is too vague to yield any reasonable answer. And now you can go on from here and state that it is not about coming up with the right answer, but about the movement the question induces – but given this interview with Clement Chéroux, the head of the photography department of Centre Pompidou in Paris, this will most likely lead to a mix of indifference and name-dropping…

Which of course will not prevent me from going: They just have this gigantic grabbag full of photographic yummies (more than 40.000 photographs by european and american greats), and even when what they pull out is accidental, it is always worth the travel…
